REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The Housing Authority of Mingo County is seeking proposals from qualified owners to develop new and/or rehabilitated project based housing with one hundred (100) project based vouchers available. The owner to be selected must have experience with market rate housing, tax credits, mixed-finance and mixed-income housing development and is encouraged to offer creative development options. Maximum Proposal Request is for 25% of a building's total units. Exceptions to the 25% limit are permitted for units that will house: 1) the elderly; 2) the disabled; 3) those where one or more members will participate in a program of supportive services throughout the Project Based Voucher Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) contract. In order for a proposal to be considered, the owner must submit the proposal to the HAMC by the published deadline date, and the proposal must respond to all requirements as outlined in the Request for Proposals. Incomplete proposals will not be reviewed. Specifications for this Request for Proposal are on file and may be obtained for a $10.00 fee from the HAMC officer at 5026 Helena Avenue, Delbarton, WV 25670.
