PUBLIC HEARING The County Commission of Cabell County, West Virginia will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 10am in Room 300, Cabell County Courthouse to allow citizens to voice their opinions in support or opposition to the proposed amendment to the Cabell County Commission's Ordinance Establishing, Maintaining and Operating a Countywide Enhanced Emergency Telephone System (E911) to increase the Fee Upon Local Exchange Service Consumers to Finance Its Maintenance. The amendment shall impose a fee of $9.50 per month per local business exchange service line and $7.00 per month, per local residential service line, including voice-over-internet protocol and digital service, to finance the projected costs of establishing, equipping, furnishing, and maintaining the Enhanced Emergency Telephone System. A copy of the full proposed amendment may be viewed in the Office of the County Clerk. Both written and oral comments on the proposal will be accepted by the Commission at the above date and times.
