CRUM PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT CRUM, WV ROUTE 152 PHASE II WATER MAIN EXTENSION PROJECT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of: Route 152 Phase II Water Main Extension Project Contract No. 1 - Furnishing all materials, labor, and necessary items for the construction and installation of approximately 32,390 LF of 8" water line; 23,950 LF of 6" water line; 13,295 LF of 2" water line, meters, valves, fire hydrants and all other items and appurtenances as outlined in the Plans and Specifications. Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract No. 1 will be received by Yvonne Nichols (Manager-Crum County PSD) at the office of the Crum Public Service District; 414 Crum Road, Crum, WV 25669, until 2:00 p.m. local time on August 30, 2016, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. A pre-bid meeting will be conducted at the Crum PSD office at 10:00 a.m. on August 16, 2016. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. Separate Bids will be received for Contract No. 1 General Construction. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis for both contracts as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidders who return full sets of the Bidding Documents in good condition (suitable for re-use) within 30 days after receipt of Bids will receive a full refund. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "E.L. Robinson Engineering Company". Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must comply with the Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Copeland Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Act, the West Virginia Division of Labor Wages for Construction of Public Improvements pursuant to West Virginia Code 21-5A-3, and the West Virginia Jobs Act (West Virginia Code 21-1C-1). All Bidders must hold a current WV Contractor License on the date of Bid opening. Any Contractor submitting a bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he/she has a license and meets all the qualifications required by the statues of the State of West Virginia, and subdivision in which the work is to be performed.
