Public Notice West Virginia Medicaid Program Notice Regarding the Public Comment Period for the Access Monitoring Review Plan In accordance with 42 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 477, the Department of Health and Human Resources, Bureau for Medical Services provides notice that the Draft Access Monitoring Review Plan (Plan) is available for public comment from July 13, 2016, to August 17, 2016. After the public comment period has closed and comments have been reviewed, the Plan will be updated and applicable comments incorporated into the final version for submission to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The purpose of the Plan is to identify a data-driven approach to monitoring access to care (ATC) across a subset of Medicaid fee-for-service (FFS) service categories to assist the State in determining access sufficiency. The Plan's approach describes data sources, methodologies, baselines, assumptions, trends, and factors specific to reviewing West Virginia Medicaid ATC. Any written comments received will be available for review at the above address during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., beginning July 13, 2016, to August 17, 2016. Comments can also be e-mailed to MedicaidATC@wv.gov. All comments are due no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 17, 2016.
